What began as a personal mission to support handlooms, has become a way of life for us at Aasmani. We work directly with handloom weavers and skilled artisans to create a range of clean, eco friendly handwoven and handcrafted textiles. Our product portfolio consists of sarees, dupattas, scarves and yardage. We love the creative processes that often challenge us to think beyond the usual. In handmade each product is unique, and this is what fascinates us. We love to explore new weaves, new crafts, new clusters, and see, how we can integrate them into our system, align them with our sensibility.
Our work has taken us to many places – new cities, as well as tiny villages. Our primary focus are weaves and crafts of Bengal, but we are not limited to this. We often take up collaboration projects with weavers and artisans from other States. Learning is a continuous journey, and each day we are learning new things. We feel blessed!
